In honor of A.J. Hartley's paperback release of his wonderful fantasy novel this week we have something different for the Friday Five.
Five reasons to read Act of Will by A.J. Hartley.
1. Because adventure and humor should go together more often.
2. Because you're already a fan of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, right? (If you're not, you really should be).
3. Because the chances of the main character who narrates the story making it to the end are virtually nill. Always fun.
4. Because you've always wondered what a fantasy novel by J.D. Salinger would sound like.
5. Because it's now out in paperback for $7.99 which is, as Will would tell you, less than the price of a decent six pack.
