CRF Invasion News, Notes and Announcements
1) Of interest to those who like to pack snacks in their baskets: For the first time EVER my basket was inspected today. I was required to lift the cloth that covered it to show what was inside. Now, inside I had a plastic bag and I told the gal at the gate that it contained my knitting (and it did) and she did NOT inspect it further, look in the bag or remove the bag to see what was beneath it.
Will they be doing this next weekend? I dunno, but here's your FYI. Cover your treats/gnoshes/goodies with something innocent looking.
2) The very best food on site can be found across the lane from what used to be DreamShoes and is now Bald Moutanin Leather. It's a crepe stand. Sweet crepes go from $1.50 to $3.00. Savory run around $5, I think. VERY yummy, although I think their sweet crepes are better than the savory ones. Ask about the nutella!
3) Do It Yourself Invasion Photo is 1 pm Saturday at the kissing bridge. Bring your camera, sweet talk someone into snapping a picture while you pose.
4) The Wedding Ceremony is 11 am Saturday at the wedding pavilion, which is down near the joust. If you miss the nuptials, please stop by the Dragon and Unicorn Leather Mug booth to wish the happy couple well.
See ya next weekend!
Note: Please feel free to repost this anywhere/everywhere.
